Halloween returns with StoryBOO! Village in partnership with Start.ca!

Get your costumes, trick-or-treat bags and flashlights ready, and join us for a fun night at the park! From October 13 to the 30, visit Storybook Gardens for a spooky (but not scary) Halloween event geared towards young children and families. Weekly events will take place every Thursday through Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. Register online today.

Enjoy spooky light displays and amazing decorations, ride the Storybook Carousel, jump on the Leaping Lilypad, meet the pirates of Pirates’ Island, make your way through Old MacDonald’s black light maze and find mythical creatures handing out candy! This event is geared towards young children ages 10 and under.

Registration details

Regular park admission is $12 per person. Children under two-years-old can enter for free. Pre-register today by visiting Play Your Way online or purchase tickets at the park. Those who purchase admission will receive one ticket to ride the Storybook Carousel.

Special events

Sensory Friendly StoryBOO! (Sunday, October 16, 1 to 4 p.m.)

Music, light displays, projectors and special effects will not be available during this daytime experience. Admission is $5.00 per person. Children under tow-years-old and support workers can enter for free. This event is hosted in partnership with Autism Ontario.

Mini StoryBOO! (Sunday, October 23 from 1 to 4 p.m.)

Light displays, projectors and special effects not available during this daytime experience. Admission is $5.00 per person with a focus on our youngest trick or treaters. Children under tow-years-old can enter for free.

Humpty's Haunted Howl-o-ween (Sunday, October 30 from 1 to 4 p.m.)

Dress up your dog and bring them trick or treating this year with Ren's Pets and Bosco and Roxy’s at Storybook Gardens. Enjoy special Halloween activities for dogs and a few human treats along the way. Human snack options available with local food trucks on site and our Beavertails concession open for the event. Admission is $5.00 per family with a suggested donation to the Humane Society London and Middlesex. This event is hosted in partnership with the Humane Society London and Middlesex.

Yes, we are open! Join us Wednesday-Sunday from 10am-4pm for fun at the park. Rides open on weekends till October 3, 2022.

We are looking to hire 75 high school volunteers for StoryBOO! this fall. Attend one of our volunteer job fairs to learn more!

Storybook History

The wonderful world of Storybook Gardens opened in London’s west end in 1958 and has been enchanting visitors with rides and attractions themed around popular fairytales and nursery rhymes ever since. Inside the park, a village of imagination awaits. So come on by and experience all that Storybook Gardens has to offer!

Storybook Gardens provides a unique setting to promote the target benefits of parks and recreation for the children and thier familes. With our site, services, and staff, Storybook Gardens will create opportunities for families to play and learn together, creating memories to last a lifetime.
